Rachel’s Network 25th Anniversary Spring Meeting:
Growing a Just Environmental Future
New Orleans, LA
March 24-26, 2025
The Gulf South is a vibrant region that faces many environmental challenges including petrochemical pollution, rising sea levels, and extreme weather. The communities most impacted by these issues are the same that have survived generations of enslavement, discrimination, and genocide, and built a national movement for civil rights. Today, women are at the forefront of a new resilient and just vision for the South.
Join Rachel’s Network to hear from these leaders and network with fellow Catalyst community members and environmental funder members of Rachel’s Network. The gathering will be a combination of community building activities, together and in affinity spaces, featuring a special 25th anniversary celebratory dinner, and ending with a Catalyst community wellness activity.
Rachel’s Network will provide roundtrip transportation to New Orleans, two nights lodging at the meeting hotel, The Hotel St. Vincent, and all meals and activities beginning with afternoon tea on Monday, March 24 through lunch on Wednesday, March 26.
About the Property
Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, the Lower Garden District, with its quiet and walkable oak tree-lined streets, is not far from the fun and frolic that defines New Orleans. Hotel St. Vincent honors the legacy of Margaret Gaffney Haughery, a philanthropist and caretaker who devoted her life’s work to the poor and hungry. She built orphanages throughout the city, including the building where Hotel St. Vincent is today.
Guests will enjoy the quirky historic charm and updated amenities of this beautiful space including a pool, restaurants, coffee shop, and creative networking spaces.
