Rachel's Network 2024 Spring Meeting

Women’s Environmental Leadership in the Pacific Northwest
Snoqualmie & Seattle, WA
May 6-10, 2024

The verdant forests and waterways of the Pacific Northwest have nurtured people for thousands of years. From the snowcapped Cascade Mountains where seasonal melt feeds rivers of salmon to temperate rainforests and estuaries teeming with biodiversity, this region is uniquely sustaining. Unfortunately, environmental pressures have put this natural abundance and the people who depend on it at risk.

Join Rachel’s Network to learn from the women leaders who are working to protect the region from biodiversity loss, pollution, deforestation, and climate change. In Snoqualmie and Seattle, guests will have many opportunities to learn from these experts, explore nature, and strengthen relationships with fellow funders.

About the Properties
Perched atop Snoqualmie Falls and owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe, Salish Lodge & Spa is a respite from the city with access to hiking trails, views of the falls, and delicious locally-sourced meals. We’ll spend three days there taking in the beauty of a temperate forest biome and learning about successful conservation efforts and work for Indigenous sovereignty in the region.

Registrants are encouraged to extend their stay by purchasing a full experience ticket, which includes a Seattle adventure to explore Puget Sound. We’ll spend time on the water, stroll through Olympic Sculpture Park, and conclude with a private dinner overlooking the Sound at Seattle’s Edgewater Hotel.
