Message from Fern Shepard and Casey Hansen
Dear Members,
Our 20th anniversary year is here, and it’s a time to reflect as well as to aspire. We’ve come so far; how much farther might we go? Each new member strengthens our organization, adds to our communal wisdom, and magnifies our collective effort to secure a healthy planet, especially in these times of crisis. In that spirit, we’re aiming for a big aspirational goal—to welcome 20 new members in 2020.
Getting to 20 won’t be easy—it’s about double what we’ve seen in recent years—but we believe it’s possible. The real reason we think we can get to 20 new members in 2020 is YOU. Most of you joined because you heard about Rachel’s Network from someone who was already a member, and instinctively you turned around and became great ambassadors for the organization yourself. This year, we’re nurturing that instinct, supporting it, and celebrating all your efforts to grow our network. This webpage of resources can support those efforts.
We encourage you to consider this question—Why do you belong to Rachel’s Network, and what do you value most about your membership? Your unique answer will help us define the value of the network to prospective members. We are standing by to help you identify prospective members in your network and develop strategies to reach them. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Fern Shepard President fern@rachelsnetwork.org 202-391-0167 |
