Event Details

Despite progress through the Biden Administration’s Justice40 initiative, significant work remains to ensure that communities overburdened by pollution and climate impacts see their vision for a better world realized. The 2024 election could see that progress continue, or falter.

Two leading advocates and Catalyst Award alumni engaged in electoral work for the environment join Rachel’s Network to share their efforts ahead of a pivotal election. Georgia Conservation Voters Executive Director Brionté McCorkle and Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund Energy Justice Director Jean Su are working at the state and national levels, respectively, to strengthen environmental laws, hold elected officials accountable, and protect voting rights.

Join a networking reception preceding the panel for refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and socializing with fellow environmental advocates.
