Since 2017, our funding has strengthened a national coalition of organizations to fight border construction; educated the public and members of Congress on the wasteful and harmful effects of the border wall on the environment, wildlife, and border communities; and defended low-income landowners at the border in court. It has also garnered us accolades from philanthropy outlets, as this area of funding is small and our investment has been strategic.
