Join us this winter to read and discuss The World Is Blue: How Our Fate and the Ocean’s Are One by renowned marine scientist Sylvia Earle. Through compelling personal narratives, she highlights the current and future peril of the ocean and the life it supports. Despite being published more than a decade ago, Earle’s writing is still relevant in its eloquent, but urgent call to protect our blue planet. We invite you to better understand Earle’s wisdom, brainstorm responsible, renewable strategies, and ultimately act to protect the natural systems that sustain us.
“The ocean is a living soup. I find that enchanting. I’m entranced by the abundance and diversity of life.” – Sylvia Earle
