Event Details

Rewilding Argentina has fostered one of the most successful conservation efforts in the world by protecting Patagonia Azul, a coastal habitat that includes 60 small islands; and Iberá National Park, home to almost 30 percent of Argentina’s biodiversity. Rewilding Argentina was initially a project of Tompkins Conservation, founded by Rachel’s Network Member Kristine Tompkins and her late husband, Douglas Tompkins.

During this webinar, members will learn from Rewilding Argentina Conservation Director Sebastian Di Martino about these two large-scale conservation projects in Argentina, and how the organization worked with partners in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to make them a reality.

After Sebastian’s presentation, members interested in learning more about the upcoming Rachel’s Network Excursion to Argentina (November 8-19) should stay on the call for 30 minutes to review the itinerary and ask questions.
