Event Details
Our fossil fuel-dependent energy system not only hastens climate change, but also profits off the same vulnerable communities it pollutes. 2020 Catalyst winner and San Francisco’s Local Clean Energy Alliance staff organizer Jessica Guadalupe Tovar and Solar United Neighbors Director of Energy Equity and Inclusion Yesenia Rivera are charting a better way, in communities across the country. They join Rachel’s Network to talk about their successful work advocating for locally controlled and equitably shared renewable energy, climate resilience, and green jobs, especially for those most vulnerable to poverty and pollution. Moderated by member Alice Liddell.
